General Information

​

• The art competition submission is NOW OPEN. All applications must be submitted between this time frame for consideration

• Age group: under 6 to 25 years of age ( Age groups: [6-9] [ 9-12]  [13-15]  [16-18] [19-25])

• The entry fee is USD 40 per entry.

• Each participant can submit a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 artworks.

• Everyone participating will be receiving feedback and recognition certification.

• We accept paintings, drawings, digital arts, photography, and mixed media.

• We accept artwork from artists across the world. You do not need to be attending art school.

Awards & Prizes

​

3 winners will be selected from each age group. The winners will be awarded a certificate, a chance to be our Junior Juror, art supplies, website and social media mentions, media coverage, career guidance opportunities and much more.

 

The 3 award categories are:

​

1. High Gold Medal

2. Gold Medal

3. High Silver Medal

 

All the participants will be receiving recognition certificates and feedback.

Selection Process

​

1. Top artworks will be Longlisted.

2. Participants who are selected for the longlist will then be shortlisted.

3. Award winners will be notified personally, announced on our website, recognized on all our social media platforms, and an email announcement will be sent to our industry network.

4. The winners may be expected to mail their artwork to the organizer to circulate it for gallery showcases, magazine features, media coverage etc.

 

Judging Criteria

The Judges at the NextGen Artists Awards browse the art pieces for judging without knowing the artists' identity.  Our judges are looking for original artwork with unique technical skills. The artists are free to express their creativity and personal vision in an abstract or realistic form.

Application Fee

​

• We at The NextGen have kept a minimal fee of US$40  per artwork submitted. As we are a not-for-profit organization, NextGen Awards does not receive any other funding source apart from the entry fee. Our entry fee goes directly towards our operational costs, prizes and awards.

How to Apply
